hi

ive just purchased a hornett style bottle scoop
im wondering if there is any use cutting a hole in my bonnet with an efi 202 under it?
if it will help can some1 help to guide me to puttin it on rite the first time
i would appreciate ne help

no point at all as you don't have a carbie you're air for the motor is drawn in down near the radiator so i wouldn't cut a hole it would be pointless. as far as putting it on i wouldnt be tempted to drill holes, maybe use some sicaflex or something to glue it on. not sure how strong it would be but ruining a bonnet isn't worth it. aslo i'm not sure but technally i think they're illeagal in some states because if you hit someone they meant to be able roll off the bonnet but having sharp edges for them to hit is illeagal . ie. the way torana. vk group a and walkinshaw scoop are designed fit within regulations. i have seen plenty of cars with them i suppose it depends if police are being pricks or not if you car isnt registered i'd wait till after youre registered it to put it on so you don't have any hassles.

Sticking it on and not having it on for no real purpose, i reckon some ppl might think thats a bit wank factor? imo
