Power Window Problems

Hi Guys how do I get My power windows back up since the motor/switch crapped its self.

Is it all of them or just one? Front or Rear, left or right??

Both rear in my case...I don't use them though (probably because I can't) but it would be nice to have them working again. What should I look at first? When I first got the car, I remember the back right one going down, but having trouble getting back up, as if it got stuck, but it did eventually come back up. After that it never went down again as far as I remember. Reminds me of the aerial...it went down when the car turned off (after the first drive home)...and was never to be seen again.

bugger, well to get them up all you should need to do is to put power to the motor and the windows should go up if you remove the switch and put 12v power to the following wires you should be able to control the windows to get them closed.
Drivers side rear : Brown & Blue (Might be Yellow replaced brown on some models)
Passengers side rear : Green & Violet

If you put +ve to one wire and -ve to the other and the window goes the wrong way just reverse the wires

my sunroof, rear passanger side, n power windows dont work, spewin. and only the passenger side door locks all doors..

calais vk was holdens first all electric interior yes?

No HQ Statesmen was from memory, first electrics commodore was the VB with electric windows, central locking etc...
