Hi all
have a 85 vk 3.3 and having some problems need your expertes
1 were is the fuseable link on a vk
2 when we start the car all warning lights go off the oil pressure gauge and fuel gauge dont work if i reeve the motor up the oil gauge will then start to operate and the battery light will come on dull so i disconnected the oil gauge at the sender batt light stays on if you put the gear lever into reverse the light will britten change reverse switch still the same i now there is a short some were but were

Fusable link is just a piece of wire on a plug located in the main battery harness on the passengers side chassic rail.

I think you have the most famous VK commodore Bad earth problem.
To Fix this problem I run an earth from the beattery to the chassic and to the engine block with very thick heavy wire.
Also tap into the front and rear earthing circuits of the car and run an earth to the body.
