Wheel Base Length

Hi i own a vk commodore wagon and am doing a 5 speed conversion this weekend from another vk sedan as a doner car. The gearbox is a steel case celica 5 speed and i was wondering if the tailshaft from the sedan with the 5 speed in it will be the right size to suit my wagon ie is the wheel base the same in the sedans and wagons any help would be much appreciated.

howzit goin peter,

my method would be to keep ur original wagon tailshaft, but knock out the front uni and change the yoke to suit the borg warner...
