Will This bolt up to a t5 trimatic paten on a 253

Hi all

I have found this on Ebay and am woundering if it will bolt up to a trimatic paten T5 he say it will fit a Commodore in his add

I have asked the seller and this is the responce i got no responce to the first time i contacted him then the 2nd time i got this

MATE, THIS CAME OUT OF AN SL/R TORANA WHICH WAS V8. NOW YOUR ASKIN ABOUT A T5. COULDNT TELL YA AND NOT INTERESTED IN FINDING OUT EITHER. BUT YOU COULD TRY HDT IN REVESBY, IM SURE THEY WILL KNOW..

No this will only fit a M20/M21 aussie 4 speed

So not even with a conversion plate from dellow's or CMRS it would not match up just trying to get some info as the guy selling it was not helpful

Conversion plate? never heard of them. Plus it would be highly likely that wouldn't work either.

I meant adaptor plate and yes u can got conversion and yes they do work look at the dellow's web site and CMR web site do your research before make a comment mate

Well sorry for that. Now looking on Dellows web site they only sell adapter plates for automatics only. So in your case with the aussie bell housing still would be no good.
Wouldn't it be best to buy a brand new bellhousing anyway?

When i spoke to the old bloke from Dellows he said and i quote " we make adapter plates and conversion plates to suite the T5 for V8" so i know they do do them but the thing is i am on a pension and i can aford to gp and spend $400+ on a new bellhouseing so i am trying to think of other ways that i might be able to do it thats all

These adaptor plates usually go from block to bellhousing, not bellhousing to gearbox.
