hey guys and girls
just wondering how do i go about removing the window winders in a vh commodore.
cheers
rohan
Grab a rag.... an old t-shirt will do, then slide it downwards and slide it side to side to release the clip. Works on most handles.
There is a circlip just in there ,push on the doorskin a little bit and you should be able to see it ,just pry it off with a small screw driver. When you gotta put it back in just push it back into the little grooves.
cannot see the clip
It's like a piece of paperclip wire. And you can use paperclip wire to pry it off.
i double checked it and there is no clip insight. i knew about the circlip as all holdens have them but its just strange that they are not there.

they are there u cant see them on the vh winders i sat there for half an hour trying to work it out once u get it its easy .... like ppl have said use a bit of cloth pull it tight against the winder and wigle it side to side
This is another way to do it, veiw the pictures
To remove this clip, make a small hook from a piece of coat hanger or any stiff wire. Hook the tool onto the clip and pull it out. Wrap a rag around the handle and tool because that clip will fly out and immediately blend in with the floor making it almost impossible to find. When you have it out, put it back on the window crank so it doesn't get lost.
