Hey guys,
Need to take out my front windscreen so I can install the last bit of the headlining - the glazier comes on Saturday to refit all the glass so I'd like to have it all done by then - anyone able to walk me through it?
Cheers,
Chris.
well this is a 2-3 man job, so grab some mates. What i usually do is go around the windscreen rubber with a flat blade screw driver from the body of the car. You might have to have a few goes at this, to break the sealant off. When you have done this grab a mate or 2, put them either side of the windscreen, you hop into the car and give the windscreen a gentle push with your feet. This is the bit you need to take your time. Wehn its out you have successfully removed your windscreen![]()

Much of a chance of hacking up my duco you think?
If you do it the right way, no it shouldn't

Ahh well - that didn't work. Seems it's now new windscreen time! No biggie really, just adds $100 to the costs, plus I get a sandblasting-free screen now![]()
