ok the half wit that owned my new vb stroker project before me has put bonnet pins at the front of the car. now im trying 2 sorce a second hand vb/vc bonnet. thats not the worst of it.............. they drilled straight through compliance plate and the chassis number on the front radiator support can i get new plates or is the car rat shit now

for your bonnet rty the wreakers i'm sure there should be one about, even if you come across one with surface rust, just do a rust converter job!

Are you in VIC? I have a straight rust free VB bonnet you can have for $40

Can't you just go to the RTA and explain what has happened and they might be able to order/source a new replacement id plate or even issue a new one with a different number and change it on their system.

Ok in most states u can get aftermarket plates made up by the transport dept of the state u live in it means that an tranport dept inspector is going to crawl all over your car like a rat up a drain pipe i know couse when i did a cut and shunt on a VH they did the same to me it all hinges on what state u live in and what there laws are if u have the old rego papers u should be able to show them and all they do then is give u engraved mod plates to put on the car and restamp the chassie number in and a cert to say that it has been looked at by there inspector and will be noted on there computer system for when and if the cops pull u over
