I was thinking of getting a group a front spoiler for my vk, but I was looking around and found this one. I've never seen one before (maybe I havn't been looking) but I was wondering what you guys thought of it? Do you think I should get one? Or should I just go group a/3 or something?
Tell me what you think, I'm really interested on your thoughts. (BTW, this is a wagon that I want it on)![]()
Yuck thats a VR/VS HSV body kit on a VK. I hate the idea of new bodykits on old cars. I reckon the Group3/A bodykit is the go.

A lucky owner of 2 SL/E Commodores, a rare VB SL/E and a 2 tone VC SL/E. Just need a VH SL/E and have the set!
fentos, the newer bodykits on the older commies don't have many fans. I'm one of the few on this forum that like them. Most people like a newer engine transplant, but when it comes to changing the exterior look of the car most people shake their head. But, if we all liked the same things the world would be a boring place.
Anyway, I bought that bodykit from the Spoiler Factory for my VC. I've attached a pic of the rear bar on my car (with a VP SS wing on the boot). It was just a trial fitment of the unpainted fibreglass to make sure everything went on ok, that's why the fibreglass still has a black coat on it. The sideskirts are difficult to make out, but they are there. Unfortunately the photos of the front bar didn't come out very well. I've only seen one car on the road in Melbourne with this bodykit so it is rare.
I don't know how you'd go putting the rear bar on the wagon, it would require a few modifications, but it certainly would be unique.
Mark.
i think they look gross.
ECOTEC KICKED IN yO!!!!!!
I reckon it looks shit! SHIT HOT that is!
I think I'd need to see a bigger image to tell ya what I think![]()
me pesonally, no i don't like it.
but then again, i've already got a group c kit.
Yeah - well at first I hated it, then I looked again and thought about it...and how different it looked from all the other vks i've seen. It just seems...different. Which is what I like, and how many of these in wagon forms there are I have no idea...but I doubt there would be many. If I get enough money I'll go for it...money isn't that great when your a student.I might save 50 a fortnight or something.
Yeah it might cost you $$$$ though. Is it really worth it?
Can you explain to me what the hey is a group 'c' kit?Originally Posted by shiatan
Well i know that if I did it I wouldn't get my money back - so if I did I'd keep the vk for a while...which I sorta wanna do anyway. My car is pretty much all stock...and I need something to like about it lol. I guess I'd rather be unique.Originally Posted by zoist
if it was me i wouldnt kit it at all. put a efi 5ltr in it and youll have somthing to like about it.

actually mate, you can thank another member for that.
blackdog actually put the kit on and did the car up about 7-8 years ago after numerous other owners that (see previous post) is how i recived it.
here's how it was before it left him
hmm that is fairly nice. Makes me think about buying a VC lol...but yeah. Scott - if you happen to read this...what do you think?(about the kit that is)
well i am thinking of putting this one up for sale, but i'm not sure yet
lol - I'd never afford it anyway.AH well....vk is good for now.
I like your wing Demon , i got the sameone and looking at putting it on my VC, though maybe a different desigin at the joint ends.
I'd rather see holden parts on holden cars rather then other vechile brands out there.
Will a group c kit go on a vk? Those flares look hot! Ever since my first car, LX hatch back torry wid a 253, Ive had a thing for flares! they just make a car look reel tough. put some nice fat low profile tyres on there and it'll turn heads!

The kit usually comes with a GTS wing but a bit wild for me for the VB-VK boot so the VP SS wing was the best alternative. I saved $150 as well so an added bonus. But yeah, just that SS wing even without a body kit looks nice. Probably sits best on the VL though, the raised boot lip blends it in really well.
hmm yeah. I really don't know what to do now...I'll save the money up though and that will give me some time to think it over.![]()
Yeah good idea Fentos!
You can mix two shapes into one like that! It almost wrong!
Save your money and get some nice wheels/rubber!
