Just wondering if it was possible to get efi for a blue 202, i know you can for the red motors but i've never seen efi for a blue....

efi fits the blue better than the red motor.
blue/black motors have same head port layout, virtualy the same motor.
red motor you need to change the head over to blue/black.

Some people refer to the VK EFI 202 engine as a "red" engine due to the red rocker cover & injection manifold.
To actually fit the injection to a red motor requires more than just chaning the head as water jackets etc dont line exactly up.
Other mods are required to a carbie car other than bolting up the injection manifold.
including

rerouting fuel lines, adding a fuel return line
removing mechanical fuel pump
installing high pressure pump
wiring, computer, and sensors
fitting of a air box & AFM
if oyur using a standard VK eFI setup a hold will need to be drilled in the engine block to allow for a sensor which is located on the dizzy side of the block towards the rear.
installation of tube headers replacing the cast iron headers as well.
Also to gain the best perfomance etc a cam shaft change is recommended as well and an EFI car runs a different cam profile.

Yes efi will fit on a blue motor because blue and black are almost identical mechanically. There was an old article in street machine, I think it was called grunt hunt and they just did everything they could to a blue motor EFI, YT head, roller rockers,cam,starfire rods etc..

Thanks heaps for the info, but i think ill stick with fuel straight to the carby instead
