How can i make my 202 VK Launch harder?

even though it sounds stupid, i want my vk to accelerate alot quicker off the line. any ideas? its an auto EFI 202

But a serious answer to your question, when my VK was a EFI 202 I found mine launched much harder with a manual, so you might want to consider a manual.
Also a diff ratio change would also help you launch quicker you most likely have a 3.08 in at the moment, a cheap way to go would be an 85 VK borgwarner diff at 3.36:1 or a VL 3.45:1.

ok would a new set of diff gears cost much? cause im saving up for either a 3.8 V6 or a 308 conversion. i just want it a little quicker for the time being

Unless you have built a diff before dont worry about a diff ratio change it will be cheaper and easier to replace the diff.

If you are considering a V6 conversion a 25 spline Borgwarner would be satisfactory for the project if your going the 5L I would suggest a 28 spline VL turbo diff with a 3.45:1 ratio. I picked the 3.45 for my VK while doing my EFI 5L conversion.

Nothing beats a hi-stall and decent gearing in the diff to get it to up and boogie... Best move i've ever made when it comes to launchin off the line...
