    Default Fuel Pump VC/WB

    Hey All

I'm just about to install a new fuel pump in my beastie, a WB 3,3L ! apparently its changeable with VB - VK, looks different to my vc version but it still should fit, and I will soon see.

Anybody had any issues with putting other fuel pumps on from other models.

    Cheers

I knew a mate that put a blue 202 fuel pump on a red 202. Ran a little rich but seemed fine to me.
So if it fits and works it should be fine.

Well i installed the new fuel pump and things are working out great, though may i remind ppl to undo the fuel line remove the smaller nut and hold the place the larger nut "both tasks with tools " as your fuel line may twist and snap ..

    Here's links to pics anyway..

Old ones the VC pump, new one's a WB

Well i've finaly installed my extractors and done the engine timing, but what i have noticed and no wonder the thing was so dam cheap over ebay, the WB fuel pump seems to be leaking from either the gasket in the middle or the screws surrounding it, has anybody has issues with a WB fuel pump before? It's not leaking much but looks to be under pressure or something...

    Very odd..

Also would anybody be able to sugget a better fuel pump for my VC rahter then a WB pump?, i'm happy to get another fuel pump.

Well things are running great with the fuel pump so far after i got fuel line connections right with a tight seal, but what i have noticed now there's air being pushed out of a tiny hole under the fuel pump area ...

was it built this way? in a way i kind of doubt it..
