i started thinking last year when i bought a straight vb what can i do with this project and it come to me when i got given a 500 horse rated turbo so this is the project so far a 253 with 60 thou flat tops mildy worked heads which is pretty sweet i've been smart with it as well i have stripped the engine bay completly and using the standard exhaust manifold i used two left hand side's turned it around so it faces to the bottom front on the drivers side
the exhaust comes across under the fan and up to the t piece on the batteryinto the turbo and then 3 1/2 inch out the passengers side clearing everything and using 600 dp holly behind the light having the turbo sucking air through and then straight into the manifold with an injector so i can start the engine not a bad idea hey and i did a crappy spray job bright orange and silver how long do you thing the engine will last i put it on a dyno but it went of the scale at tafe which is about 200kw

From the sounds of it (and in my opinion) it won't last too long without the proper cooling, get an intercooler and it should last a lot longer
water injection cooling is the best method for cooling carbied turbo's sounds goood though wouldn't seeing some pics of the setup
