hey fellas
was thinkin of sb chevin my vk but found it costs to much. was the vk the first n last of the black 308 or is the vl the same. hopin to chuck a T700 box behind her, will it just bolt straight on or not. which is the best carby 308(red/blue/black). im already runnin lpg on me 202 so emission is no problem. also, is it worth considering a 253. was the vh the last of the 253s
Yes the VH was the last to use a 253.
The VKs had either black 308 or black 304. As for carbys i think the VL Quaddy was the best carby.

do you know if the T700 bolts up to a vl v8
Not to sure. Well I think HDT in the late Brock dyas did fit a few to some VLs. I suppose if its a trimatic V8 patten bellhousing then it will fit.

you can conversion kits from castlemain rod shop aren't th700 injected v8 gearbox and use computers? i i know vr/vs are th700 and use computers to run them. stick with the trimatics i think it would to much hassle going the 700 unless you went with the whole gearbox injected engine with computer and harness. if you're sticking with gas go the rochester carbie.
vr vs use computers because the g/box is electronic. vn and vp are not
