vk petrol problems

hey all
the calais starts on petrol now too

HOWEVER, being my luck, it runs REALLY rough, and stalls unless the accelerator is half way down

3.3 EFI, duel fuel.

Im presuming its the first time its ran on it in a few years.. so the injectors may be clogged.. what do i look for in that sense? Any other ideas of what to look for with this problem?

Yeah they could be clogged mate since its been so long, just get some injector cleanr like that flash lube stuff.

Get your injectors cleaned. They are probably gummy. Is your air cleaner clean and fresh? If not, replace it. Spark plugs. Are they in good order? Check the timing and if it's got very old petrol in it, it might have gone stale.

I got the timing adjusted a few weks ago,b ut ya never nkow.. i bouht a new air filter too.. ill get them cleaned n see how it goes..

Clean Injectors, Check all vacuum hoses, Maybe a new air filter.

And also inspect your Throttle Body, more than often they get alot of Carbon Deposit build up.
