Looking at getting a JP high volume oil pump and a set of JP helical timing gears for the 202.
I imagine that the oil pump is a no-brainer, should-do-it upgrade, but is it worth putting the timing gears on??

Unless your pulling big RPM there is no point buying a high volume oil pump the standard will work just fine, timing gear wise JP, TGK doesnt matter what brand as long as you have an Alloy timing gear. If you have a fibre one the time to replace it is either when it strips or when you replace the CAM
