    Smile help again plz

i have grown to realize you people on here are smart and know small usefull things i dont, i have a photo and i want to know if it is a berlina or a executive, mainly cause i dislike black 202's and want a 202 efi. so yeah peruse and tell me if you can tell me what it is....i think on the side of berlina's it says injection, but im unsure if there is a similar badge on a executive, and its not the best quality photo.

alright the badge on the side states it is (or was) an efi. If you look at the engine bay, if its EFI itll have a black airbox near the right headlight

No lock surounds only shows its not calais (i think) have a look on the dash, itll have a SL or Berlina badge.

lol, all motors in the VK are called black motors, whether they're fuel injected or carburated.. they just paint the EFI thing red, the motor is still called a black motor.. the easiest way to tell if that car has EFI or not is to open the bonnet and physicly have a look. If there's this giant red thing coming out of the side of the motor it's got EFI.. even better I've found a picture of an EFI motor

Just FYI, the black motor is such because it is an advancement over the blue motor in the fact that it's got EST and something else

Thats either a Executive/SL model cause it don't have the black window surrounds and i think its missing the chrome trim below the headlights

Ok to me it looks like an EFI 202 Auto SL with Brown interior.

Things to look for if it is a Berlina

    Tinted windows glass not clear.
    Upgraded velour trim
Rear seat with a centre arm rest
upgraded interior front door arm rests
    Berlina badge on the Dash
    Tacho
    High rise centre consol
    Aircon & power steer standard
    Berlina external badging
    Berlina tinted tail lights
    rear interior courtesy lights
    electric aerial

Next the cars VIN should begin as follows
    8VK19 to be SL/Executive sedan
    8VL19 for Berlina sedan
    8VK35 to be SL/Executive wagon
    8VL35 for Berlina wagon

I have full details on my Site

Doesn't a berlina have the Holden badge in the middle slot of the grille? Too bad the photo isn't from the other side of the car.

    Correct!

    Executive/SL: Top Bar.
    Berlina: Middle Bar.
    Calias: Bottom Bar.

You can just see the badge on the top bar of the grille.
