Go for a VL Turbo LSD its a 3.45:1 the VL 5L LSD was 3.08:1. They come with disks, 28 slpine axels & 4 pinion LSD and are well suited for a V8.

The VL standard diff is I think also a 3.45 non LSD with 25 spline axels. Good LSD hemispheres can be purchased for these for around the $300. These arent as strong as they axels are smaller and the LSD is only 2 pinion.

cheers
Scott
