Hey Guys
I'm a n00b and am looking to sell my v8 VC commodore but am having trouble determining what it is worth. The car is in very original, tidy condition with no rust and rego. But given that it is 25 yrs old and a v8 I'm having trouble working out a fair price...
I know you can't tell me what its worth without viewing it but....
What do you think is a reasonable range?
How much did you pay for your car?
Where do you think is the best to sell?
thanks
Ralphie
Well is it a base model or upper spec?. If its an SL/E you can get a fair bit of coin these days.
Also original rust free V8 VC?. Well anything between $2000-6000, although in the latest Unique Car mag there is a VC V8 with the sport pack option going for $10000.

A lucky owner of 2 SL/E Commodores, a rare VB SL/E and a 2 tone VC SL/E. Just need a VH SL/E and have the set!
Anywhere up to 1000 bucks without seeing any other info or specs about the barge.
Must have been mint though...Originally Posted by SL/ENUT

Hey Guys
Thanks for your replies....My car is a base 'L' model, I'm its second owner through inheritance ( the original owner had it for 24yrs). I'm having issues determining the price because this car sits well above any other VC's that I have seen for sale in Brisbane - I'll take some pics this afternoon and post them up anyways.
Thanks again guys.
Ralphie

Well being a base model with V8, and sounds like it is all original, it can get a high price for it. The magic word these days is original, they always fetch a higher price.Originally Posted by ralphalfa
Well it has low kays, a good thing, but has some hot bits too. Down here in tassie anything like that can fetch $2000-7000. Thats no bull either. The VB-VH shape are one of the sort after shapes in the Commodore scene of late.Originally Posted by shiatan
