VK Problem

Hi

Got a VK Berlina 84, carb, idles ok, soon as you load engine it misfires.

electrical prob i guess, coil or leads.

any help appreciated.

if you still have the EST system, get rid of it

a good %age of the people here have had to remove the EST due to ignition problems

Hi

Replaced plugs, leads, coil, distributor cap and rotor, still same.
then thought fuel problem, the fuel pumps diapragms were cracked replaced the pump, now the carb floods on idle and still same problem as i started with, it just wont run right.
gonna get a carb of a Xe/f falcon like the thread says.
