Manual Gearbox

hey guys i was just woundering if a 4 speed manual gearbox out of a blue motor 202 VH would suit my black motor 202 VK as i want to do a manual conversion and i have found someone selling this box....any advice would be good

AFAIK blue and black motors are compatible and I think the only difference is the heads anyway.

Yeah bolt straight up, just make sure if your black motor is a carbie 202 that the belhousing has the hole for the CAS for the EST, or better still grab the dizzy out of the VH while your at it and get rid of the EST.

hey thanks ..and it is a EFI motor not carbie with digital dash so hope it wont effect it??

i found the 4 spd to rev high at 100km or above, the five speed is much better if you do highway driving, i have one serviced and cleaned for sale $250, so there not expensive!

What is it? I have seen numerous aussies for sixes at around $80 and an M76 for around $60 on ebay. That is sold prices...
