hey,
i have switched from the restoration of the vc to buying a vh. The vh is in very good condition and is 4 cyl... NO PROBLEM solution is at hand, My uncle recently bought a vn commodore (a Pillar damage) and only wants the auto out of it and is asking me to remove and install for him. The plan is to do so but then leech the v6 from the vn and his old auto and reco it, and do the ever more popular V6 Conversion. I have access to the neccisary tools and equipment and am able to complete the project whilst saving the money from my casual job for the engineers cert. the driveline and whatnot are in supposed "good" condition.
Please any comments and hints what-not are welcome and would be much appreciated
Thanks,
Jon.."The BIG Guy"

a vh should have a 202 blue motor thats a flat/straight 6 not a 4cyl
Could be a starfire...
Driving a CURSED WH V6.
Ok, the VH is a straight six not a 4 dumbass ebayers, and it has a celica 5 speed, only rust is a small patch in the bottom rear corner of the rear left door, the engine was overheated to the point in which it melted two small plastic fixtures from the head. aparently the engine ran fine before hand but thats only what they say, it has the standard crappy ass mags and the hood and roof has crows feet, needs struts/towers? and rear shocks and thats about it if i think of more im sure i will add it,
OH MAJOR THING is it worth buying?, my uncle said around a grand to get it to roadworthy condition..

Hmm, celica 5spd, best box to put behind a 202, wish mine had one ...
what have you got?Originally Posted by Jimboss
202 with a trimatic ... but i have been thinking about putting a 5spd in.
im not sure if i want to buy this vh. sounds worth it for the fact it has the celica gearbox and body is in fair condition minimal rust in the bottom corner of the door... as this car will be a daily driver i want something i can have ready pretty soon next 4 months or so.. and i dont have that much time during the days the only time i relly have is weekends.. and hardly have a full weekend where i am not doin something, is it worth it to buy this vh or is it better, to get another car that would be ready sooner and is just plain car save the v6 idea for another time..Originally Posted by Jimboss
