Default AU Falcon twin thermos into VK

I have a set of twin AU Falcon thermofans that i want to put into the VK. Can anyone recomend a suitable thermal switch, prefer something with a sender that can be screwed into the front of the V8 manifold where one of the TVS switches go. The cars gonna be running straigtht gas and an HDT cold air tray. The radiators a VN one (cap straight out the top of the side tank instead of off that little neck). I'm not running any trans cooler lines into the radiator, but an external cooler mounted forward of the radiator. Has anyone on here installed one of these fans into a VK before... photos of where to cut the shroud and how to attach it would be good if anyone has any.

I THINK all you will need to obtain is a thermostat switch to control the temp, you should be able to get one of ebay or maybe even places like repco. When i brought my 16 off ebay it came with one.

Hi mate, i'm not completely sure and havent installed a set myself but I when I was looking into it I was told the AU thermo's are too big a fit for earlier commodores. Either the EL or mondeo would fitup easier, but still require abit of cuting of course.
You best investigate further though coz like I said im not 100% sure.

I have my temperature guage, plugged into the manifold at the front, and the switch that activates the thermos has a long brass type tube, with a bulb on the end, all i did was stick that up the top hose, (on the radiator end) with a little help from my old mate mr gasket goo, tightened up the clamp as usual.
then when it came to getting it to activate at the right temp, i just let the car warm up, and tune it by looking at the temp guage. (er, and twisting the dial on the switch helps too )
u just have to get your head around the wiring of the relay and all that

the actual switch just hangs off, so use zip ties or something to stop it wobbling around.
get the repco brand ones, they are smaller and not as ugly
CONVERT TO V8 & NEVER LOOK BACK
