High Energy Ignition

Gday, i was thinking of getting one of these for my vb, would a VN-VS hall effect dizzy work in my red motor or should i modify my current points dizzy like in the article for about $30 worth of parts, any comments?

Wouldnt it just be far easier to run a VH-VL V8 electronic dizzy with a high energy coil?
There are 2 types of hall effect dizzys in the VN-VS range, they can be identified by different coloured plugs, early model have a blue later have a black I have info on my site about the dizzys.
