vk/vl brakes

hey all just gotta quick question i just got a nice offer from a good friend about buying his vl its in immac. condition , original 130,000 k's , k&n air filter , extractors etc. excellent car for a great price with a 5spd manual

and was just curious as im thinking of buying it , i know his disks on the vl arent that crash hot , and i currently own a vk , and just done a whole new strut job..so if i buy this vl i was just curious if my brand new disks and pads that are on my vk will fit straight onto this vl , which will save me buying new stuff for this car as the stuff i have on my vk at the moment is only about 1 week old..any help or advice would be great..

If you have standard sized VK 6cyl brakes and his are standard size VL 6cyl brakes you could do a swap from car to car no problems.
