Is it possible to take off the pollution gear off a straight 6 engine for a Vk and run off of only gas???

Is this legal in Victoria??

Does it give you any added power and fuel efficiency as it would be only tuned for gas!!!!!

to get the best out of LPG u need lots of compression, make the most of LPGs 130 octane.... u are correct, straight LPG = no emission control stuff. as far as power / ecomony goes, i'll know in a month or 2 as mines gonna b straight gas.

yella terra high compression heads are easy enough to find, they are floating around the wreckers everywhere and are cheap as dirt
good spark plugs and leads and a tune will run better than petrol and for half the price

No it doesn't. Just less crap in the engine bay to be honest!

If petrol wasn't expensive, I'd get rid of all the gas crap in my car and run it only on petrol. Straight gas would get rid of a heap of hoses and bits and pieces.

im going to go straight gas from gasresearch in my VB red 202, i am running my VN on straight gas and heaps more power than petrol, just make sure everything is suited for gas i reckon, my VN wasnt and i burnt out a few valves, and yeah up the compression a little, no pollution gear needed as it has bugger all chemicals in the exhaust, no fule vapour and shit like that
