yes i would say so otherwise in the enbine bay maybe near the battery somewhere
ok, as far as i know all the relays are in the fuse box. all in a line, have a look on the ORIGINAL fuse box cover and it should tell you what does what.
From memory the horn is a square relay on the top left whereas the indicators are a cylinder on the top right.
You don't want to connect the ammeter to the horn relay do you? That would be intermittent.
Ok. If you want to connect it to say the alternator to see the current, connect one side of the ammeter to the battery +12v and the other side to the alternator output post. But doing this means you have to remove the alternator wire to the battery.
Remember, to measure current, the current needs to flow through the meter (the same way a multimeter measures current) or it won't work.
If say you wanted to hook it up to your horn, you would need to cut the wire that comes from your horn relay that goes to the battery and wire the ammeter 'between' the wires so the current flows completely through the meter and not any way bypassed.
Hope this helps Goon![]()
No worries![]()
This alternator outpost, is the one with the red wires cause that would be postive? there is also a black wire, i have a bosch alternator...
Well i tried the above to the best description i had in my mind, i connected one wire to the battery and the other at the red wires on the alternator and also removing the wrie from the alternator to the battery and still nothing...
ps. i had the parklights, cd player and interior lights on.
PM sent to you.

The wire coming from the post might not be red but usually is. If your wiring is dodgy, I'd replace that while you are at it.
