VB commodore 2 door conversion

was just wonderin if anyone had any ideas about doing this conversion, extending doors etc, im a fitter welder with all certificates, so i have a general idea however does anyone know whats involved in this type of mod, with a roof chop.

Well you need to find the longer front door and rear Opel body panels, same to the Adayer Sportif rears.
What do you mean by roof chop, a lower roof profile or more a slop the rear like the Monaros?

the intention is to remove the roof from the a pillar back and create a lengthened door using a donor car. will raise the rear quarter panel profile 70mm to get the lines right to do the 2 door conversion, then create modified rear pillars and roof using the donor car for parts

VB chassie with a diffent front,a VB VC VH VK VL front fit 1:1 it is is a German Opel Rekord E1.

Here in Europe there was model callt Opel Commodore (3th version) witch was a exact copie of the VB on the outside and it was availeble as 2 door and 4 door version and a wagon.
But i could not find any pics of it right now..

I got one that is a vb chassis using the opel panels,it has been sitting in the shed for the past 20 odd years and is still a painted rolling shell.It has been changed to run a vl turbo and 5speed,of which I also have sitting in the shed.Time to finish has always been a bit of a problem!!!!!

hey stevak, really interested in your vb/opel body work...
that wing, even though its quite big seems to go really well with the vb... im looking at bodywork for my vc at the moment, was wondering if you had more pics of it?
