The original 308 in my sle. Although not original specs. Hopefully sometime this year/next year it gets a well deserved rebuild

Here is my engine bay its about 95% complete still need to tidy up some wiring, finish polishing the engine covers and fit my polished rocker covers, but other than that she is all good.
Its an injected 304, no need for the full build details but its had a full rebuild, warm street cam, head work, ACL race series pistons, bearings and gaskets, pacemaker headers.

I know its not a VB-VK but its still a 253. This was it a couple of weeks ago, heaps of parts pulled off atm as I am in the process of fabricating my turbo manifolds.

Here is mine. Pretty stocko 308 black motor. Doesn't blow smoke but does have a bit of lifter noise which I want to fix down the track.
The gas crap makes the whole bay cluttered with hoses and stuff, but it's cheap. Future additions will include chrome rocker covers and braided hoses. Plus other bits and pieces.

nearly finished will have vt covers and vs airbox shortly. then onces its all sorted new motor with starr manifold plus one of there airboxes. should look good. or i could do this....

That pic looks like it's got new strut tower mounts! Possibly urethane / Nolathane rubbers.

its only the comp cover the rest was probly bined my bro got it out of the scrap metal bin at cummings where he used to work it would look maaad if it really was there but
