I'm doing something similar soon but not until atleast another 3- 4 weeks I'm just using a 16 for a backup controled by switch, which includes thermostat..

Are you planning to remove your manual fan? then twin for the main?

you'll have mmuch more room in the bay, make sure the airflows the correct way, ie toward the engine.. shrouding increases cooling efficiency by makeing sure al the air is sucked through the radiator.

If you remove the manual fan, you'll rpm will increase a bit, allot quicker

The way i see it is, aslongas you got air blowing throw your radiator things should be sweet, thoguh remeber thermos cool down a different ay then the old manual fan.

I have mine planned to be mounted on the front for those hot days in traffic and maybe when i wanna take it to the extreme
