Not too sure on exterior, but if you were really keen you could change the tail lights to something that takes your fancy. As for interior, apart from stereo ofcourse, you can do what alot of people do (and myself) and vinyl die the interior, whether it's just to freshen up your existing colour, or change to another colour altogether.
Any tailights from vb-vl will fit straight in. Maybe you could do a VH or VK conversion if your into that, very easy job too. Another mod that looks super neat for the exterior is removing of the strips down the side of the car and bogging up the channel so the whole side of the car is flush.
thinking about redoing the hole interior.. ( have already riped everything out anyway lol ) black interior with a custom center console ( makeing myself then covering in black fake leather ) and yeah just the normal mods like stereo.. makeing back seat myself aswell.. ( i love to make things lol )

you transplant a VK berlina or calais interior into those units
my berlina one with only 2 cigarette burns cost me $120 in total for the whole lot, seats, trims, console everything, looked a lot better than the stained, ripped and stinky SL interior. got the whole deal from u-pullit here, the self-serve wrekcer, dunno what these deals are called interstate
Thats sweet. Mite have to shoot down there then ey. How long ago did u get that and which you pull it dude?
agreed, I love the way VB-VL interiors are interchangable, I have super cushy VH sl/e seats in my vl exec front and rear, berlina door trims , calais sunvisors (velour), chrome interior door handles and surrounds and a console lid from a ED fairmont ghia LOL.Originally Posted by haloeight
Grab some VR-VS seats for the front. Way more comfortable than the VB-VL variety and seeing as you're going to retrim anyway, do the fronts at the same time. I got mine 8 years ago for $100 the pair in fantastic nick, should be dirt cheap now.
Exterior you can go with the VH SL/E taillights, and SL/E bumpers front and rear.
cool. the rear bumber on them go right to the wheel well dont they?. i was going to go with the dark tailights off a VK ( pic below ) would they fit right on? and i wanted the clear indecators instead of the vb ones.. would they fit? thanks heaps ^_^

clear indicators wont fit unless you change bonnet to VH-VK and do some cutting on the fenders
as the headlights are also different
The rear of a VB is an easy conversion to a Vk bar but the front is a little more difficult.Originally Posted by ucwepn
The guards from a VH or VK need to be fitted, but before that happens you need to cut the apron off the radiator support and weld in a Vk apron. (If you cant weld, or know anyone who can weld well enough, spend $50 and get a boilermaker to do it for you).
Then bolt on the VK bar support and then your right to go the plastic bars.
The apron is quite different to accomodate the bar supports which are large and wont fit through the VB apron. Also the VB apron gets in the way of the bottom of the plastic bar.
If you dicide to do this, let me know, I have done it a few times, happy to give you pointers as you go.
