hey every body im looking to talk to some one who owns or has owend a vk to get there view on things also i am very proud because today i did my first wheel stand i had it goin good and because it is not lsd both wheels spin i hate lsd come talk so i can learn more about cars and mods im only 16
Surely, you can't be serious Vk boy?! Wheel stand!
A stock VK with a K&N and a Holley could barely spin its wheels, let alone do a wheel stand!
If yours can do a wheel stand, i think its got enough power, you don't need any mods done mate.
I'm pretty sure there will be plenty of members who'll give you a bit of advice. Just spare us the Bulls**t mate and you'll be right.
Oh yeah, Welcome aboard.![]()

can you put a pic up so everyone can see.
give us an idea of what it looks like
Adam
Given that you already have a holley carbie on there, there isn't too much you can bolt on to improve performance.
A good start would be to replace all your filters. Maybe do an oil change and flush out the cooling system.
Perhaps a set of extractors wouldn't go astray. Even just a set of extractors from a black EFI motor will make a difference.

i didnt think the extractors from an efi black motor would suit a carby powered black motor as i was once told by my exhaust place they could not fit them because the heads differnt.
Its been done before on VK's. I think the manifold needs a little bit of modification at the mounting points to fit but nothing too hard. I put a set from an EFI black motor on my old VB red motor. It was fine, just a straight swap.
I thought the black heads were the same on carbie and Efi motors. Could be wrong though.

The ports are NOT different between a black carbie head and a black EFI head. EFI 202 headers will fit a carbie 202, you just need to block off the EGR port on them.
cheers

Sorry - didnt mean to offend. I never pretend to know what I don't. My last post was more of a question than a statement and it has been edited to reflect that.Originally Posted by vkberlina
