vb 253 red, how much power?

Hello, just wondering if anyone knows how much kw/hp the vbs had stock with a 253?

97kW. I think it had more with duel exhausts. I can't seem to find my info on them atm

The VB Red 4.2L/253ci had 86kw/115hp with single exhaust and 98kw/131hp with daul exhaust.

Just for the record the VB Red 5.0L/308ci had 107kw/143hp with single exhaust and 126kw/168hp with dual exhaust.

I don't know where you got your info from but in General Motors-Holdens Sales Pty Ltd VB Service manual it states:
Red 253 4.2 litre: 87kW(S) @ 4000RPM or 96kW(D) @ 4400RPM(S=Single exhaust D=Dual exhaust)
Red 308 5 litre: 114kW(S) @ 4000RPM or 125 KW(D) @ 4200RPM.(S=Single exhaust D=Dual exhaust)

Bahhh who knows, i don't think the ppl at Holden at the time knew what horse power both motors have.
