WANTED : VK Scuff Plates

Looking for a full set (if possible) if not at least the 2 front door scuff plates. Really looking for someone who may have N.O.S. they want to sell, or a set in perfect condition.

Black Colour.

they are all the same from vb-vl if this helps. They are a slightly greyer colour on the VL not sure about the VK. Good luck with it.

The proper highly saught after ones for a VK are black and are extremely rare in good condition ESP NOS.

Check ebay they have been floating on there from time to time and are now fetching around $150 a pair.

Your best bet might be to buy a grey set and dye it with a product called dylon its a fabric dye but you can dye plasics with it as well you mix it up in a big pot and boil the plastic parts in it.

Thanks for the help so far guys..

I will be looking for the black ones... I have just about finished my project car it was really just a renovation job as it was an all original berlina with 99000ks on the clock and a complete new long motor fitted 10000ks ago.

I am going to replace the carpet and want to replace at the very minimum the drivers door scuff plate as it is split and catches on your shoes occasionally when getting out of the car.

Will put up some pics when finished... it looks ok i think... Asteriod Silver VK now with base ss kit, (boot bobtail, hdt grille) no side moulds, colour coded completely, dark tint, polished Calais Rims, MP3/CD player, new suspension.

Just needs carpets done, scuff plates and the (seems common) sticking Odometer fixing.

I have been picking up some good parts from Ebay, as I live in outback NSW and we do not have the luxury of a decent wreckers for parts.
