Ok, well....If you look closely between the door skin and the winder itself, you should see a small metal horse shoe shaped clip. Now get a screw driver or something similar, and prise the clip off.

Just a tip, get a tea towel to hold near where the should come out. Coz they have a habit of shooting off at great speed and force. And they can do damage. Trust me, I've copped one in the forehead before.

Now after the clip has been removed the winder should just pull straight off. If not, a few little wiggles should remove it.

Hmmmm....There really should be one there. I'm guessing someone has previously removed them and couldn't get them back on. Maybe they've been glued back on or something.

Yeah maybe but there is nothing between the winder and the space. i can see nothing but the shaft. maybe i should take the door off and take it to a panel beater and ask him to show me how to do it

it should be in a groove in the handle itself, just push the trim back and spacer and sort of look from above, if you cant see i, try turning the winder till you can see it, pretty simple to get them out.

I take my Trims off once a yr, wind up the windows & check if there's any debris in the bottom of the door then give it a liberal coating of Fish Oil.It smells like a public pi$$er for a culpa weeks but prevents the dreaded cancer.Kids moan every time I do it...
