308 bare block?

not sure if this is the right section to post this, but i was just curious, i have a bare red 308 block. in great condition 20 thou over, but as i say it is bare, nothing on it at all, i also have a set of 253 heads, complete, with valves, also have the rockers for it in a box, also got a standard oil pump for the 308, so how much people think i will get for the lot, it has been sheltered since it been out of the car, i think it was out of a HZ or WB ute (cant remember), not for sale at the moment, but will sell later, just want to know what its worth,

I'm not 100% sure but 308's are more sought after than 253's. If it's a red, then it would suit earlier Holdens like HZ's and HQ's as they don't have emission control stuff. 500 bucks is a rough guess. I'd like to hear what others think. You could try ebay. Not sure if you'd get that price on there or not.

yeah id like to see what sort of prices they are worth, as im looking to try and get rid of it soon, (parents what me to clean up the shed) got a few other bits and peices i will try and sell, i got VN glove box, VB-VK (maybe VL) door handles, outside and inside, i got four door shells off a VC, i will write a list and post in the for sale section,

There's no real difference between 253 and 308 heads some have different egr ports but mainly changes as the heads get newer

i thought the 253 heads had smallers valves? this block and heads are pre pollution and have no emission control stuff, actually took it to engine reconditioners and get a fresh hone, to clea nit up, no ridge on the end, great nick, just wish i had more money i would do it up, i will get som pics and post it for sale in the right section,
