    Yes you can
You need new disc brake axel seals & bearings for a VH commodore, a VH disc brake handbrake cable.
Then unbolt the backing plates, handbrake assembly etc from the VP and swap it all over.

    cheers
    Scott

oooh, so it is a bit more involved than just whacking the discs and calipers on.

would the disc brake axle seal and bearings of the vp be of any use?

You need to remove the bearing from the axel to get to the seal, I would replace the bearing & seals as I have had heaps of disc brake seals leak but only 1 drum brake seal ever leak.

I know the VP has bigger 28 spline axels I think the wheel bearing may be different, thats why I specified the VH axel seals.

    cheers

I just assumed since you were talking drums you were talking rears , lol the VH's had bad enough brakes as they are drums on the front would be down right scary :P

the drums actually work at the moment. they lock up and skid quite nicely. discs would be better, but can wait.

main reason why they wont fit axles is the vh ran a sals and the vp is a b/w

also u will need a 4\w\d master for the correct pop valve for first time u hit brake pedal rears will lock up and wont release not a good thing to happen lol

I cant imagine that a whole transplant from the VP would be huge. Change to the VP diff and axles too. Maybe a new yoke for the tail shaft but you would have to check it out. I'm pretty sure that the tail shaft rear of the centre bearing is the same. Its the front half that is different. ummm I think maybe the other way around lol. I'm really not helping am I ??
