Anywhere dude! I've got them on glovebox screws, steering column, in the boot... even one on the mount point between the seats for my center consoleBut you're after creative? How about seatbelt anchors?
There is usually two main earth wires that make the whole chassis grounded. One is a fat cable bolted to the block and I like to add another cable around 8 guage to the chassis near the battery.
Basically anywhere on the car there is metal, it would be a good enough ground spot. If you want to ground something, scrape off paint if there is any to make a real good connection. Anywhere.
i used a screw from the computer in my old vl to earth my cd player![]()

lol, deadset anywhere on the body, anything thats got a metal screw going into a mount on the body, or into the body itself, its an earth. i wired in an earth to a bolt under the drivers seat (for an amp) lol, i thought that was creative.
My Car is my OTHER child
I did a similar thing in my old barge. I wired my ground to the frame under the seat.Originally Posted by Mr Robbo - The General
