Gearbox help

hey guys, just need some advice on my gear box. Im about to have some stuff done to the engine, (gas cam and heads, manifold, extractors) and i think the box will need some work as well. My car is a VB 308 with trimatic. Can anyone suggest what i should do to the gear box to improve as this is one area of cars im not as sure about..

Something that my family has always done, is when we cant/wont do the work....like autos........, go to someone that does race cars. If they can keep several hundered H.P. contained, they can handle your street car blindfolded. I know some people will disagree with this, and all to there own, but in the 25 yrs I can remember my dad going to race shops for odd bits he counldnt do, and it paid off every time!


I would recomend a good trans service, and stage 1 shift kit. B&M do these for tri's, TH, and anything else that can slush around.

Best move with any automatic car is to convert it to a manual.

I suggest having a look at this site and have a look to what you can get put onto your 308, it may be a bit far to get to and expensive but well worth the look on the website.

What cam and manifold are you getting?
