find an sl/e interior that will match your car as close as possible and put it in.
velour rocks.................
Yeah, the SL/E interiors are awesome, wish i had one, mainly want the high rise center console, i like the vinyl door trim, they're easier to personalize.
You can also try looking for a good condition dash from any vb-vh sl's or sl/e's and maybe put one in, if your dash is stuffed or wont to have the standard oli pressure and volts gauges wich the dashes came with.
yeah, the hi-rise makes a good arm rest but personally prefer the velour door trims, that way it matches with the roof, seats, etc......Originally Posted by Jimboss

I dont know wot interior the VC's had but you could cover or reapolster your seats and other door trims and stuff in leather (or fake leather to save money) i think that would be pretty unique coz everyone has velour.
The vinyl interiors in the VB-VHs are in fake leather, actually if you put 2 original VB-VH seats together, one in vinyl and one in leather you would know the difference, they both feel the same.
I have only seen one factory VB-VH with leather door trims, and this was done by HDT in a grey VC.

why not re-spray the vynil and plastics to your liking and then buy the appropriate carpet & get the seats re-apolstered
yea^^ what he said, you to supercheap or autobahn, one of those places and buy a couple of can of the vhf? cans of leather/plastic paint. they sell heaps of colours (black, grey, blue, red, white and some other fancy ones)
wow i like your door trims
if i was you i'd get some black seat covers, put some black carpet in and maybe spray the center console black it would look sweet as![]()
It's actually VHT, very good quality stuff, if you are careful, it will look very professional. One piece of advice is you go down this road, steer clear of the Super Cheap Septone brand stuff, as it may essentially be the same, but the quality is absolute crap.Originally Posted by phat_com
hey thanks, I didnt think you could buy that sort of stuff. I thought of doing carpet black, but It was gonna look crappy with still the brown everywhere.
this VHT paint, I think I might give it a go, you say I can do the door trims, can I also do the roof, dash and centre console with the same stuff???
thanks for your help.

With the VHT vinyl dye, you can use it on all sorts of stuff, including vinyl, short pile carpets (most auto carpets) and also hard plastics (like dash's & consoles). Just make sure that you do a good prep job, use a grease and wax remover (most are pretty much just turps), and the prep is especially important on the hard plastics.
vht now make a plastic/vinyl prep spray you can get, spray on wipe off kinda thing, havent tried it, but wax n grease remover/prepsol will be fine.
VK 308, are you talking about my door trims???, why do u like them???
