    Default Mmmmm baby yeah!!

Nothing more satisfying than giving your baby a wash, dry and wax to get her looking good.!!

Got my head unit installed no worries, tweeters mounted on the dash.
Next mission to get some speakerz. I am fast becoming a Fusion convert after listening to some 5.25's at Repco along with 6's and a sub...

    MMMM

After that I think I might get her lowered a bit to combat that 4 wheel driver road clearance.

Any point in getting low profile 15" rubber rings for the standard wheels? (45 or 50's?)

Get some new rollers. Nothing over the top but at least 16's with 45 profile rubber. The bigger the wheel on a VK the better.

Paint the grey bars in the body paint and she'll look awsome.

    Dunno about the big rims.

I was wanting to keep her looking original as.

What I thought might work is to get some 15" cop rims and low profile tyres.
Could then fit some budge-o Holden 15" plastic wheel covers so she "looks" standard.

Then after that I might lower her a bit so she doesnt have that 4 wheel drive look.

Goona keep the paint exactly the same, just get the wee dents taken out and have her resprayed.
Then, in 20 years time I can take her to car shows and people can oohhh ahhhh at the "standard" old arse VK

    OR

Could get some big rims and keep the small arse stockies so when I am in a "classic" and "original" mood I can put them back on for those old school moments?

Well I rang the local Holden dealer and they have some slightly used 15" hubcaps from a VR that were "upstairs collecting dust".

Going to see them tomorrow - reckon they will do nicely.

Now just have to get the rims and tyres.

Well it was first registered in 1986, so officially according to police / MOT its registered as a 1986 Holden Berlina.

When I bought it and did the change of ownership papers I wrote down Holden Commodore and the lady wouldnt process the paper untill I had the "correct" information as my application did not match what was on the computer, so after 5 mins of head scratching I put Holden Berlina and she was happy.

I guess it probably is a 1985 Commy but without knowing how to cross reference the build number I couldnt tell ya, thus I stick with 86.
