Help, installing antenna VH.

Well, my old aerial has had it so i went and bought a new one. Installation is easy but I can't get the cord from the antenna to the back of the HU. I had an idea to attach a wire to the old aerial cord pull it through the attatch the new aerial cord and pull it back but the cord is stuck. As it stands I have pulled apart alot of the dash and gotten nowhere.

How do I remove the 'top' part of the dash on the passengers side?

Anyone thats replaced the aerial before please give me advice.

solved, I found the holde in the firewall and threaded my own way through. The old cable is still stuck behind the dash so I just cut it off at both ends.
