    hello,

well i wanted to do this because i have just bought a vk berlina that has no motor and it has had a 6 grand paint job and my mate i bought it off told me that if i bought it i couldn't sell it and buy another vk (he sold it to me for $10)

And i know how much the car ment to him so i am not going to sell it.

thankyou for the reply, and are you sure it is spelt like that? sound a bit rude

If the car meant so much to him, why did he let it go for $10?

If you wanted to take the front bumper off mate u can do that, but to remove the whole front end i'm guessing you would need someone qualified to do so for safety reasons + that's if u wantyour ride on the road. .

If you have steady hands you can drill all the spot welds out but why would you?.
As said by 3800VH they use a monoque chassis(Not Monocok), not like the older Holdens.

the old hq etc had a different designed front end and under body which meant you could take off all the outside hanging panels and front inner guards, basically able to remove everything back to the firewall leaving just the two chassis rails. with the newer cars from the vb onwards you can not do that. the front end ( actually the whole body ) like people have said is a monocoque design which means the body is one peice ( apart from of course the hanging panels, doors front, guards etc ). unfortunately you cannot do what you want to do.
