    Default Gasket help asap

    Hey all

    Theres a leak in the back left hand side of my carby if someone was to face the front lookin on, i was wondering which gasket this would be ? its the one that sits between the plate and the carby's underbody.

    please an answer asap i'm kinda on a deadline of 3pm today

    yeah just a varajet2 carby, with a plate in the middle then the manifold. leaks fuel in one corner and i dont want an engine fire

    Take Your Carby Off And Fit 2 New Carby Base Gaskets, One On Either Side Of Your Black Insulator Plate...

    yeah, figures that!

    i would say to replace both the gaskets on top and under the plate because if you take it apart to replace just the top one, you will take pressure off the bottom making it not seal properly.

    i cant think of any other gaskets that it would be. as long as its not the actual fuel line going to the carby...

    I should point out especially to Goon, that if the base gasket is cactus and causing a leak, then there would be major vacuum problems causing the car to not idle and probably a number of other problems.
