and if anyone has Asteroid Silver Metallic paint please let me no in your reply because thats the original colour of my car and i was wondering if it looks good.

Im re-spraying my car and deciding on what silver to paint it.
Let me know what silvers look good.

mine is Dulon 'fine aluminium'. you can also get it in medium and coarse flake. its got no pearl and three coats of clear

Cheers, both pics are the same car, i swap between the MOMO's and the AERO's. The wings a Group A one, ( but my car came from HDT with it on ), the Group 3 is only a small low spoiler

yeah i like the group A spoliers better than the group 3 ones. the small low ones dont look as good (i think anyway).

Yes it sure is Asteroid Silver we painted it in Spies Hecker 2Pac with U-Pol clear it looks fantastic. The colour looks a little different in the photos as its in the shed with the fluros on.
If your looking at painting your car I can highly recommend to paint the car in Glasurit or Spies Hecker they are both great products.

yeah i sure am painting my car, half way through it at the moment.
its had its first coat of primer and spray putty.

i think i am using Spies Hecker paint but its not 2pac im using acrylic.
what brands of clears are good??? or doesnt it matter???
i think i am using 'Standox' as my clear but im not sure

can you get Asteroid Silver in a more coarse flake???

In the 2pac the main component is Fine Silver which is MB518 there is are larger flake silvers available to its just a matter of adding the other tinters to it. From memory when I painted my VK in Acrylic the Spies Hecker acrylic tinter irridecent is pretty close match to asteroid silver so I think you might been to have a chat to your paint place but it can be done.
