Front number plate mounting

On my vk it had spacers between the number plate and the bumper at the frount when i got it. I took them out and bent the number plate to the same shape as the bumper.
Is this legal to have a bent number plate in vic? It looks dodgy with the spacers in there

Hehe. No, my plate at the front is rounded slightly to go with the bumper bar roundness. No problem there. What turkey put spacers on it?!

I am sure that's the very last thing a cop would give you a canary for if at all ever.

I have some 10mm spacers on my VK to lessen the curve mainly so I could fit a number plate cover to it properly.

I spose your right I just dont want anymore atention from the cops, Ive had enuf of that with the cortina and the 2 rx4's. This is just my nice daily cruzer so want it as neat as posible.

Don't worry about the cops. If your car is tidy and you ain't driving like a hoon where they see it and you tell them about how much work and your passionate about it then there is no problem.
I had a cop pull me over months back just for a breatho, but he pulled me over really because VK's are theif magnets and wanted to check me out instead and scanned my driver license. Funny thing he said "oh, you have got new tyres?". I said yeah, a couple new at the back. It wasn't until later I realised why he thought my tyres which are getting a bit worn down now were looking new. I had used tyre black paint on them a week before so they were nice and shiny! The truth of the matter was that I bought a couple of second hand tyres for the back some time ago, so I was telling the truth when I said I had a couple of new tyres!

Now about the rims. There is one on ebay going for $100 or so which is mint. I wouldn't mind buying it because it would be good as a spare. Spewing I don't have a spare 100 bucks.

So basically, from what I have seen at ebay over the past 10 or so months they are worth anywhere from about $100 to $180 each.

also trademe is a good place for holden stuff, only you aussies gotta pay for freight. About 2 mths ago I saw a set of aeros go for $200....
