You can install the efi with the blue motor you have atm, but i'm sure the black would suit it a whole lot better!

I's what it was made for.

you can tweak up a blue 6 to go just as hard as the efi 6's. For some bang for your bucks, throw on a nice flowing head, mild cam, weber or holley, set of extractors and decent ignition system, then you'll sure have a different power output...
    No wah to that!

some extractors dont have any plates or markings to show their brand, usually the cheap ones... but a common spot is bout half way along the first pipe...
As for the head, yella terra are the most popular, if they do a 12 port, but any head reco place would be able to port and shave it for you, then get a nice set of valves and springs and you should be fine... all this can be done to your current head, but a donor head is normally the way to go so the car is off the road for less time...

Most blues and blacks are a high compression engines the heads are equipped enough to handle a cam and holley 350's a perfect for a little more power with reasonable economy, match porting the head and a 2bl manifold together provides wicked flow since you have the exaust side of it. match porting is easy email me @ jismperf_00@hotmail.com i can go into more detail with you, I love holden sixes they are cheap to build and are so much fun rev nice and shit on fords. A cam will set u back anywhere from $150 - $300, I bought a stage 2 4 $175. and a stage 4 4 $185 and picked up a stage 9 of a m8 for free lots of parts r available especially from wreckers, keep looking bro, lots of cheap options, regards 186,9er

if your trying to keep costs down, try a cam, 2barrel holley, good air cleaner, extractors.

Ebay will save you a fortune, and get the lot under a grand!

Allow acouple of bucks for a good allround service/tune after the works done !

DO NOT remove the snorkel on the aircleaner, use it as a base for a cold air pipe, running it down to the passager side, away from the radiator.

EFI ( VK motor ), would be great, but if you want it to be legal, there is alot of other little bits and pieces that need to be upgraded, plus mods to the fuel system.

    Good Luck either way !
