VC/VH Carby

Hi im having a few issues with my VCs auto choke carby I know the VHs also have the varajet but are the vcs the same. I noticed the solonoid is different and the vaccum tubes are very slightly different but im fairly sure a VH carby will work . just seeing if anyone else thinks different. hopefully wont cost to much coz i got given the vc.
