How complicated is it

Ive read alot of forms on here over the months about manual conversions and how to go about them .
But what i wanted to know is
-how many people have compleated a conversion or are going about one
-and if they found it hard or easy
-and how long it has taken people to do
-and lastly the cost and did you have any problems after.

I was hoping to do it to my vk injected 6 eventualy

hey i converted mine over 2 months ago took just over a weekend for me to do with alittle help....
Cost me $300 for a 4speed from the wreckers wich came with everything i need
.i put in a new clutch kit that i paid 160 for...well i hope this give an rough idea

in my torry, it took a weekend on my own, fairly straight forward...

me and bigdaz did a vl 5spd conversion and ive done one in vh be4 theres not much to it if you 4 me the bigest pain in the ass was the pedal box but after some swearing and carying we got it it shouldnt take more than a weekend if you have every thing and the right tools

I would think it wouldn't take more than a day. I currently have a 4 speed with clutch and flywheel, but no cable or pedal kit.

i have a pdeal box missing a couple of clips still works but i should be able to find em im from geelong if this helps..was going to put on ebay with a few other parts....

A mate of mine removed a T5 in under 4 hrs + conversion kit, aslong as u keep at it mate it won't take you long

not quite ready to do the conversion jus yet
I might jus look around for wreckers in the sydney area as it may be a easier

Its not to hard, pedal box is defenately the worst part. Obviously they vary, but some are absolute bastards to line up the bolt holes.
