    Arrow Looking For an Air Filter??????

    Hey peoples,

    i got a 1984 vk executive that has varajet carby, and i wanna get a big shiny new air filter for it. Just wondering the best place to get one, or weather someone has one willing to sell????

    most aftermarket autoshops will have them, and/or be able to get them in... try sprints, autobahn, etc... the brand will most likely be redline...
    No wah to that!

    When we (my bro and I) were looking for chrome air filters for ours, we couldn't find anything that would fit on our varajets. (we could only find stuff for holleys and webers)

    I gave up and didn't worry bout it, but my bro got a speco 9" air filter and used that, but instead of using the bottom plate off the speco filter, he used the standard bottom plate and just painted it. Did the job.

    But if u can find one for a varajet then just get that lol.

    there are ones on the market for the varijet, but like you said, not as common as holley/weber ones... using the standard base is a good idea...
